ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Cassandra H. Burford's A Very Sweary History has been a fabulous journey, she gave me an opportunity to learn more about the women in our history that have been overlooked or misunderstood. Women I had never heard of but have had an impact on how I see women as a whole now.
The pirates, the anarchists, the queens, the witches, the women who did crazy, amazing things I could never have pictured happening.
I can honestly say that I know so much more about the villainesses that I sometimes look up to and sometimes am terrified of. There's more to women and learning about it with cusswords and humor thrown in the mix makes this a fabulously fun book!
Plus I got to draw Villainesses bare knuckle boxing in period dress! What's not to love?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Lou LeBlanc has a way with words and writing that mesmerizes me. Each new story leads into another and I feel entranced and transported to a campfire storytelling. Every word evokes that sensation of magic in the air.
Meeting Lou LeBlanc gave me the wonderful opportunity to meet Alexander, Charlie, Sampson, and Ohta.
Four characters that have resonated in my mind, leading me on an adventure of a lifetime and to create their designs. I love each of them in different ways and am so thankful I was able to be a part of helping Lou with his cover for both Book 1 and Book 2! I can't wait to see what happens next.
If you need a fantastical adventure with treasure, magic, and maybe just the right amount of mayhem then this is definitely the book for you. Check it out and keep an eye open for his next: Bastards and the Three Fingered Tribe.

Rock CLimbing with Rob Miller

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Rob Miller is an extremely talented Rock Climber living in the stunning South West of the U.S.. Through him I've learned so much about rock climbing in the course of working with him and every new pose I've illustrated has been eye opening.
I 100% support his book and his drive to help others improve their skillset. It's mind-boggling to me the physical prowess when it comes to these positions and I have nothing but respect for the sport. As an artist I find the human body stunning and a miracle of life. Each image illustrated within his book shows the intricacy of muscles, tendons, bones, and everything that makes it possible for humans to climb sheer cliffs.
If you love rock climbing or want to hone your magical ability to climb above and beyond then I recommend Rob Miller's book!
